Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls is a program that targets girls in middle and high school who face obstacles to their future success. It provides girls with access to professional role models, career education and resources to live their dreams. SI Visalia hosts a one day, free conference, at College of the Sequoias each year.....watch for information on the next conference.
The DIBI Speech contest was designed to recognize a girl who has participated in a Dream It, Be It program and demonstrated outstanding personal growth, leadership, resilience, and commitment to her future goals.
Julianna Meader (left front row) represented the Visalia club and received a $500 award for her presentation.

2026 Dream It Be It
Far too many girls face barriers on the pathway to achieving their dreams. Obstacles such as poverty, teen dating violence, and teen pregnancy can get in the way of a girl's ability to make her dreams a reality. Dream It, Be It equips girls to overcome their obstacles, set goals, and head towards success. Dream It Be It 2026 was a huge success! Thank you to all our participants, who listened, participated, learned, and left with memories. Thank you to all of our volunteers from Soroptimist Visalia for making this day possible.
