Live Your Dream Awards

What we’ve accomplished:
Soroptimist members in 20 countries and territories participate in the Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women; Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls; and local projects tailored to meet the community needs of women and girls.
In 2023, four amazing women were selected to receive $10,000 in grant money. These awards were announced at the Soroptimist of Visalia Annual Awards Dinner.
Soroptimist Visalia improved the lives of these women by providing cash awards allowing them to pursue their academic goals while providing for their families.
One of our recipients in both 2020 and 2021 were selected for a regional award, granting even more life changing funds.
Member Team Duties
This committee is responsible for soliciting, screening, selecting, and awarding the Live Your Dream Education Awards. The Live Your Dream: Education and Training Awards for Women assist women who provide the primary financial support for their families. Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects.
