Soroptimist Park beautification team - 2025

 

For decades, Soroptimist of Visalia has supported a city park beginning in the 1960's by providing playground equipment to the original park location. Currently, located behind Oak Grove Elementary School at the corner of Linwood and Prospect in Northwest Visalia, Soroptimist Park provides many amenities such as a modern playground, barbecue area, picnic tables, basketball court and multipurpose field/play area.

What we’ve accomplished:

1.

Clean and well maintained flower beds.

2.

Provided small grove of trees for picnics and relaxing in the shade.

3.

Installed a sign and plaque honoring our charter members as well as Soroptimist of the Year award recipients.
